Muhammad Ramadan Abubakar A talented actor with a brilliant career

Hello, my name is Muhammad Ramadan Abubakar, also known as Ramadan Booth, and I am a Nigerian actor, director, and producer. I act in Hausa movies and am often referred to as "the handsome of Kannywood" by the media. Kannywood is the Hausa film industry based in Kano, Nigeria. I was born in Tudun Wada, Kano State, Nigeria on the 5th of May, but I am originally from Yola, Adamawa State.

I began my secondary school education in Yola but returned to Kano after my father passed away on December 1, 2002. I continued my secondary school education at JSS Stadium Kano and later attended Federal College of Education (FCE) Kano and Aptech at Middlesex University. I am proud to say that I have been able to balance my academic pursuits with my acting career.

I developed a love for acting at a young age, and that passion has continued to grow throughout my career. My first movie role was in Azwaj in 2009, and I've since appeared in several notable productions, including Karzon Shekara, Wutar Gaba, Ashabulkhafi, and Alaqa.

In 2017, I was honored to receive the Best Actor African Film award in the Hausa Language category at the African Film Awards, presented by Dr. Alistair Soyode. Winning this award was a testament to my dedication and hard work in the entertainment industry.

In addition to the African Film Award, I have been nominated for and won several other awards. These include the African Magic Viewers Choice Award, the Kannywood Award, and the City People Entertainment Award, among others. It is humbling to be recognized for my work, and I am grateful for the support of my fans and colleagues.

My father, who was an airplane pilot in the defunt Nigerian Airways, instilled in me a love of adventure and a passion for exploring new horizons. His job allowed our family to travel and experience different cultures, and his dedication to his work inspired me to pursue my own dreams with determination and hard work.

In 2018, I got married to Fatima Ibrahim Sani and we now have a four-year-old daughter named Nusaiba Ramadan Abubakar. My family has been a constant source of support and inspiration for me throughout my life and I am grateful for their love and encouragement.

I take pride in being known as a versatile actor who can play a wide range of characters. For me, acting is not just a job, it's a passion. I strive to give every role my all and to continue to improve my craft with each new project. I am grateful for the opportunities that have come my way and look forward to what the future holds for me in the entertainment industry.
